Our FRG hosted an Easter Lunch with food, games and an egg hunt this past Sunday at Beacon Hill Park on base. The day couldn't have gone any better than it did! The weather was perfect, there was a great family turn out and the kids had a blast! All of the hard work that went into planning and setting up the event was completely worth it when we saw the kid's running down the hills searching for the eggs. The Easter event that's run by MWR (Moral, Welfare and Recreation) is this coming weekend and is always over-crowded and more of an egg grab (they don't hide anything, it's just grab what you can as fast as you can). While we'll still attend that Eggstravaganza, it was more exciting for the kid's to actually search and race around collecting the eggs.
